Charlie Adam a Blues target

The chase for Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam is hotting up. With many clubs interested, one of whom being Everton, Blackburn have made the first move with a £2 million bid.

The Blues are in need of a new midfielder due to the interest of many of their own and risk losing the likes of Stephen Pienaar before the end of the season.

However, if they wish to plan a raid for one of Blackpool's finest performers this season, they're going to have to go against Blackburn for his signature.

I like Charlie Adam, having watched quite a bit of Blackpool this season. Prone to the occasional blunder, but has a very good footballing brain, and is quite inventive with some of his plays. Undoubtedly one of the main reasons why Blackpool are exceeding expectations. Certainly wouldn't be complaining if he joined our side.

This is true, but he's just too slow! I want to see us be linked with a few players that have a turn of pace, can do something abit different. If we signed Adam, i could see him just being an understudy to Arteta, and if he did play him with Arteta (who isnt the quickest in the world anyway) it would make our midfield probably the slowest in the league.

Thankfully, it seems our trampy ways will prevent us from going in for him, which is good, but also embarassingly bad!

Top quality signing. Fcuk his quickness or whatever, the guy has quality, determination, sweet technique, adequate strength, and most importantly, he's defo got his head in the right place. If he joins us this window we'll be singing his name at goodison in about a years' time, no doubt he's got the kind of attitude that blue blood gives ya.
