Chances of Patterson playing

Hope this is allowed. My youngest son is Patterson daft and has decided Everton are now his English team. I’ve always had a soft spot for them and I’d promised him we would go to a few Everton home games this season. Daft idea but seeing as Rangers aren’t playing I thought we’d head to Hull instead of waiting. A bit late to try and sort Away tickets so I’m able to get home end tickets and have told him to sit on his hands (he’s 7 so don’t know how easy that will be). I’m just wondering what the chances of Patterson playing as it’s a 5 hour drive from Glasgow and it will be a sore one sitting in the wrong end if he doesn’t get any game time. Anyways I appreciate nobody can be certain but just thought I’d gauge the opinion.

Our useless manager doesn’t give any sort of team news because he’s too busy blaming the players

I think it’s possible… but more unlikely given that he literally just joined the squad and we have Coleman and Kenny in the very short term. If I was betting, I’d lean that he doesn’t start

I think he will fet some game time as best chance to see whst level he is at. Dont think coleman will play as will be in tuesday so would rest him imo

Check out the Hull City thread too, apparently he was wearing a bib in training (sometimes the first XI are on the same side in training) and the team would make some sense / suggests he could start

you dont pay 10+ mil for a right back and then not play him in a cup game
