Top 2 get auto promotion, then the next 6 teams will be in a playoff. You could finish 8th and possibly get promoted.

fun fact last time a team got promoted after they finished 6th in the championship was Blackpool in 09/10 and our very own Seamus Coleman helped Blackpool get promoted to the prem
