Championship Thread 25/26 Season

Saints go 2up late for what looks a super win. Some run they are currently on

Though Coventry just scored a 92nd min pen

Coventry fan here, reasonably long time lurker. I think it was a pretty mixed bag, a few Cov wins, a few draws and a couple of Everton wins.

I remember the one in the relegation season where I think you went 2 or 3 up in the first 20 minutes. It was in January but it was pretty much the day where most people realised that the writing was on the wall.

After Frank got the Coventry job, I go on your Sky Blues Talk forum just to see how he`s doing.

The vast majority on here, still have a lot of affection for Frank from his time at Everton, even if it was possibly too early in his career to be taking over a club like Everton and the mess we were in at the time.

If you came up, which is looking almost nailed on and with Franks previous Premier League experience and some shrewd transfers, similar to Sunderland this season, you`d hopefully have a fighting chance of surviving that all important first season ;)

Watching Watford v Wrexham is not the greatest but appears to be better than the usual CL dross being served up. Always keep an eye out for a possible future star but match is sadly lacking anyone of real calibre - especially on the Wrexham side.

I had not realised that Watford managed to sign Edoardo Bove after his return from an on-pitch collapse whilst playing for Fiorentina last season. We have been linked with him a few times in the past couple of years. He got his first goal for Watford tonight and it will be interesting to see how he performs in the Championship given that he cannot play in Italy again due to having an implantable defibrillator.

Doyle seemed decent, especially in the FA cup Chelsea game, but they've done well this season, and that's their first loss this year in the league.

I think with the amount of games they've had rcently it's took it's toll on the team.
