It's not a gamble if you scout the player properly and the top strikers in the PL have mostly come from abroad, this is why we have Brands now, there is a lot of very average players in the PL. Sandro was never brilliant in La Liga either, he had one season were he managed to gain double figures, other than that he was always a pretty average player and a very weird signing imo.

The signing was down the clause really. For £6m it was a no brainer.

Despite not scoring as many goals as we would like for a striker, the team is just much more explosive with him on the pitch. In 6 games with Tosun we have scored 12 goals. In the 2 games Tosun didnt start we scored 0 goals....until Tosun came on in this one.

I dont care how many goals a striker scores if we can average 2 per game with him on the pitch. That would be 76 goals in a season, which would have been 3rd last season.
