Tosun isn't fast. But his anticipation seems good as is his positional awareness. He's also a good dribbler, his first touch is decent, he's got good strength and can hold it up, and he can pass a bit. He can be effective on the counter, but the speed is on the wings or new players we acquire to arrive late in the box.

Some of the top teams in Europe play with a striker without good pace. Madrid carry two of them in Benzema and Ronaldo, Juventus have Higuain, Bayern Lewandowski, Atletico Costa, none of these players are quick, it’s all about how you service the striker you have.

The strikers you mention are top quality...

Cenk Tosun is not in that bracket I am afraid...
