Agree. A good example is Ruud Van Nistelrooy, he wasn't blessed with pace but it mattered little with Beckham, Giggs and Scholes feeding him.
Good movement is more important than pace for a striker.
He works in the uk where there's big knife crime issues.ReallY? Is this level of sanctimony actually justified? And if you’re going to go down that road, is Turkey’s knife crime really that prevalent / out of control?
Forgive me if I’m wrong and you’re Istanbul or Turkish based, and very much au fait with the level of criminal activity there, but it feels like you’re making this comment on the basis of the odd highly publicised Turkish ultra stabbing at an Istanbul derby, rather than an in depth analysis of Turkish knife crime statistics.

And as for turkey, their people are well known to be quite stabby
If a kopite done this there would be a 50 page thread saying he should be banned for life.
He’s a proper idiot doing that and it makes us look bad
No we're not.Can tell the PL season has finished, finding any old naff to argue about.
This is mental. Tosun has scored 5 goals in 14 appearances for us having joined in January in a new league, a new country and a god awful team - his first game we got murdered 4-0 by Tottenham. He has played well and scored in champions league games for Besiktas against much better teams.
Batshuayi had a purple patch in a fantastic attacking Dortmund team. In England he scored 7 goals in 32 appearances for Chelsea.
Rashford has scored 17 in 78 for Man U. Yes he’s had a lot of sub appearances, but that’s just like Cenk. And he’s played under Mourinho, a negative defensive manager, just like Cenk did under allardyce.
How are these two that much better than Cenk? And how much would Rashford in particular coat to buy? £40m? £50m?
Give Cenk a season with a progressive manager and I see no reason why he can’t get 20 goal. He works hard, he’s passionate and he can score all types of goals.

Rightly or wrongly, as you mentioned many of our fans would prefer a player to overtly put a shift in rather than consider the goals they score.Saying this I agree with you that he probably isn't the correct player for Everton. I like him a lot, mainly because he's a friendly character and not too serious. Probably wouldn't work well at Everton, since he can appear lethargic (@PhilM ), has a tendency to switch off etc... Is a bit weird with his hair, walks around in Sponge Bob outfits...
