to be fair to fat wayne, it was a pretty good penalty, hard and low right in the corner. The keeper got across well and made a great save. Cenk took his goal really well, played his part in the build up and found space to get a shot off

baines has an almost identical record too. I think rooney should come off them now, except for the really important moments. I'd back him every day of the week like that pen in the derby, but not needed today.

He is good with the ball at his feet. Superb finish and good exchange with Bainsey

That is what I believe he is good at. He is not ideal as a lone striker expecting to hold up play. He seems to be a footballer that likes the interchanges that create the yard to have a dig. He is defo not the lone striker player.

Not that I think Wayne did anything particularly wrong with his pen today, sometimes you've just got to give credit to the goalie but he's always had a bit of a sketchy record when it comes to taking them. Hopefully Cenk becomes our dedicated penalty taker moving forwards.

As for his goal I always love seeing rapid power shots crash in off the bar with the keeper rooted so this is automatically one my favourite goals we've scored this season, along with Siggy's versus Soton away.

Hear the stadium announcer called him 'TOE-SUN' again rather than 'TU-SOON' - they should show the man the basic respect of pronouncing his name correctly! Will help the fans to get it right also....

Yeap, as someone sharing his nationality, can confirm it is "Jenk TU-SOON" for English speaking people. I doubt he got upset that much with the goal announce tbh, but would definitely be better if stadium stuff called his name correctly. With time I guess... They eventually will get used to it as hopefuly he will score much more of these.
