Cazoo to replace Sportpesa

This really. And it’s not a payday loan firm. Can’t see an issue myself.
I don’t think it’s the brand more to do with the terms of the deal. Coming out of the SportPesa deal, you’d expect more favourable terms then what we’ve got. But then again sponsership of the academy and women’s kit, gives us scope for a bit extra I suppose.

it's no One2One that's for sure

I don't think it's out of the question to whack a USM logo on the women's & academy kit.
They might whack the logo on the shirts, I can't see any substantial sums being involved if it happens though, it would make no sense. If they were going to pump money in the main sponsorship would be the obvious way, it would be quite easy to explain away a substantial increase there, and they'd get loads of exposure. Trying to explain in an FFP investigation that our women get sponsored almost as much as our men, despite the fact their games are seen by about a hundred million people less would be... challenging. I can't see any deal for the women's sponsorship being for more than about £500k a year.

Well yeh I wasn't meaning massive sums haha. I just meant enough to make Cazoo + that being more than SportPesa.

My only hope is that the BMD naming rights deal is going to be substantial as thats the only way we are getting around FFP in the long term with these average sponser deals.

Was hoping Uz would have fiddled the books and sponsered the shirt for £20 million+
