Three more months until the Leech is sacked
People are still thinking about relegation as a possibility?9 points off safety now
If we can get even so much as 4 points from the next 3 games then we'll be on 35 points going into March
We just need to beat two of Brighton, Newcastle or Southampton at home to confirm it. If we can do well in those games whilst also getting something away at Huddersfield, Stoke and West Ham then we should be fine
The way I see it, if we can win at least two of those six games then we should be safe
40 points should hopefully be enough this season I reckon. If we get to 40 by, say, March, the pressure is off for April and May then, at which point we can focus on trying to finish as high as possible
Ultimately, we're not safe until we're safe, and we need to keep thinking that until its beyond doubt. The players nor the supporters can afford to get complacent. We're only 8 points off the relegation zone. We just need to lose a couple of games to be in a precarious situation
If we play like we did against Leicester, then we should be able to beat the weaker sides at home. It's just about maintaining that level of performance. Against the better sides we'll still struggle IMO because the left and right sides are completely unbalanced

People are still not understanding the difference between 8 points clear in 9th and 8 points clear in 17th?People are still thinking we're safe when we're definitely not yet?

That's true. But they only stay precarious if we lose the next one and a bunch of other really bad teams do well. And that's true the next week, too. There's just too many teams below us. We would have to go into an epic swoon the likes of which the club has probably never seen, like 4 points out of 10 games, that kind of thing. Two defeats, whilst others pick up points, and then things get a tad more precarious, especially if one of those defeats is to Watford or Palace
Positivity? What happened to the Forum I knew and loved????
Only at Everton could we be in 9th place and worrying about relegationPeople are still not understanding the difference between 8 points clear in 9th and 8 points clear in 17th?

Yup, sums up how turd the premier league is.It's unbelievable that we could easily finish seventh after some of our worst performances for years.
The fixtures this weekend could be a help a few of the lower sides play each other and a couple are playing top 4 sides (although for some odd reason the rs and Arsenal forgot the script at Swansea)That's true. TBF mate, a lot of us were saying that before the Leicester game. Not saying we're ace or owt but we do have the odd miracle performance, agree with OP we'll get 9 or more out them games.Come back after Arsenal smash us 4 nil
