That black/grey goalkeeper kit is a banger... Just a shame our keeper got mauled in it the other night
The wanted to make our kit all blue when we had them 2012-14
Yeah it’s daft that the majority of the parts of the kit are white.Would look well better than blue white white
Kinnear also did the lucrative adidas deal for Leeds.Saw an article yesterday that a switch to Adidas was rumoured because they're doing the Roma kits at the minute. However it also said the initial Castore deal was a 5 year one
Personally I'd love to see Puma return, screw Nike and their bumpy shirts and screw Adidas, kopites![]()
Is it lucrative though? Reported at £10m / season, which is a fair bit less than our Castore one is reported at.Kinnear also did the lucrative adidas deal for Leeds.
Given their yo yo club status that seems a pretty good deal.Is it lucrative though? Reported at £10m / season, which is a fair bit less than our Castore one is reported at.
They have in the past, as have most clubsWant to see us get rid of the all blue kit. You don’t see Chelsea play with white shorts because that’s not their kit yet we’ve been out playing all blue and even playing blue shorts and white socks once.
We play in blue shirts and white shorts, and if we’re away from home and there’s a clash it should be the away kit.
Can you imagine Liverpool changing the colour of their shorts or socks to suit the tv?
Leeds sell a lot of kits in fairness to them. I remember reading back in 2019/20 they had the 6th highest shirt sales in England and at that time they had been in the Championship for 16 years! Companies like Adidas don't give out massive contracts because someone is a "great negotiator", they look at the data.Kinnear also did the lucrative adidas deal for Leeds.

Oh great, thanks for that, now going to have to tell my child they're not going a replica kit until 2033 minimum....at which point they'll be in adult sizes.Leeds sell a lot of kits in fairness to them. Also Leeds get £10m a season from Adidas, we get £20m from Castore
We got a good deal from Le Coq Sortif, Hummel and Castore because our brand enhances theirs. Unless we get back into Europe or competing in finals on a regular basis I don't imagine the likes of Adidas will match what Castore are paying us.
When you look at the Kit deal table, we are between Newcastle on £30m from Adidas and Aston Villa on £17m from Adidas, both have been qualifying for europe
