Get your condiments and knife and fork out them mate.....it was a top of the range demonstrator with everything on and that's what I got off the price. Take it or leave it but that's what I got deal-wise. Deal done on last day of June 2014, so half year or end of second quarter sales. Lost a few bob on a lease I cut short to buy this car but nowhere near the £11K saved on the car
No mate, that's what you'll have got off the list price of the car new, there's a distinct difference. No retailer would put a used car on their pitch with more than £11k across it, the margins in the trade are crap. The reason I know this? I run an automotive group

Maybe, but I know what the car was advertised at and I know what I paid for it in the end having done some serious negotiating. The car wasn't new it was 6-7 months old. Not sure why you're challenging it to be fair, I did the deal and know what I paid, and I saved £11K on a 6-7 month old car. The reason I know this...I did the deal and bought the car.

Ok mate.

Got a 13 plate Golf Bluemotion TDI as a courtesy car at the moment.

I quite like it, and I'm surprised at the power it has for a car that's supposed to be economic. I don't want mine back now FFS. The auto hold handbrake and stop/start engine gizmos have left me looking like a tit at the lights a couple of times now though. Daft features.

Saw me first Bmw I3 in the flesh yesterday, boss looking little car, might go and have a nose at one at the dealership

Maybe not as fun if you've not watched them on TV, but one of the better commercials from the Super Bowl was for BMW's i3.

The i3 disappoints me. 150 mile range even with the range extender? For over $40k? And only 40mpg with the gas engine running? Did I mention the thing is tiny?

You'd be better off with a Volt/Ampera by the looks of it.

Sidenote, I was unaware that there was a Ford C-Max plugin hybrid available in America and I am intrigued.

Sunday drive; this part wasn't bad. Don't have a GoPro, so it's shaky...sped up as well, obvs. Gonna' try and do old Route 666 fairly soon as well, that's the one I'm looking forward to. That will be an all-day thing though, as it's not far from the border with New Mexico.
