first time driver, looking to buy a car that is good and reliable but will be a chick magnet as well

any suggestions? budget around 1-3k and be realistic with your suggestions as insurance will need to be factored in.

ta.

Fiesta / corsa / Clio

I've been in both, and both are good but I'd go for the Mazda 5. It's Ford based and though the Honda can seat 6, with 3 up front I just think the Mazda is the better option.

What Id give.. for even just a week.. to have my Black XR2i, tinted, Wolfrace alloys.. Peco exhaust Etc.. back eh !!!

Where did it all go wrong ?

The Corsa will be cheaper for parts and to insure (lower insurance group than a Fiesta), also the Corsa will be probably be easier on the fuel BUT the fiesta will drive a bit better.

I remember my Sierra Cosworth. Except it was only a Cosworth in my mind. It was a 1.6LX hatchback. Still, it was a Sierra and was rear wheel drive.

My Sierra was the same (colour) as this Cosworth.

A pal of mine had a Moon Blue colour Cozzie.. cracking motor.. He never ragged it though ?

I've had mostly Fords, and love them. While the chassis and handling and engines on the Mondeo's and Focus' I've had have been excellent, there's something about the rear-wheel-drive layout of the Sierra that I loved.

Even at a lowly 90hp 1.6 engine, I had it sideways.
