So, looks like I'm going to have to get some new wheels AGAIN FFS.

I need help choosing as apparently I'm crap.

I have about a grand to spend on a 2nd hand motor, that I will literally only use to go to work and back in, but like it to look at least a bit cool.

Most people suggest Mazda MX-5 but these are just out of my price range.

If you don't help me I'll be getting another Puma. It's in your hands.

Sierra Cossys are about 15-20k for a good one

An older shape 8L pre facelift Audi A3 Sport T(urbo) could be had for around the grand mark. The 1.8 engine is bullet proof if serviced regularly, hence being quality strong engine will see off 250,000 and beyond.
Another plus is they can go like sh¡t off the shovel with cheap and very effective mods like a decat & remap.

Edit: Some can come with very high spec like leather bucket seats, climate control, air con, heated front windscreen and mirrors, special interior lighting, bose system etc.

Chico, I had one of these once upon a time. Rear wheel drive, nothing better. I'm a ford nut, sierras rule. And ijjy, if you want a good driving experience along similar lines, go for a V6 mondeo.

Buying a Mondeo is like admitting you've got no imagination.

They're the iphone of the car world; very good cars but every ****er's got one!
