What confuses me is that sure we might have an injury or two, but the system we were playing 4231 seemed to be working really well (when it wasn't Sigurdsson in midfield), why change the system that requires multiple players to play in strange positions when you could just stay the same and have one player in a strange position. Be that Godfrey at right back, or left back etc.

He’s killed it since the Newcastle game by changing formation, system, tactics, players every game. Can’t build momentum when you’re changing week to week. Seems far too many players in the squad he doesn’t trust/fancy so is coming up with whatever he can game to game to play players he does trust. Not working clearly. Has been saying in his last few match interviews it’s an emergency but it’s an emergency largely of his own making.

We had a terrible first half. That late goal masked our dire performance.

Holgate should came on for delph. Gomes did nothing and simply reduce our option if we need to counter fast.

Agreed but that’s on Brands, realistically they’re players none of us trust for good reason...can’t get shot of them though.
