Don't know what to make of this appointment. When was the last time Ancelotti rebuilt a team? One with a squad as poor as ours? He's also 60, won't be in for the long haul.

Are we hoping he can attract bigger name players? Are we going to give him 500mil to spend over the next few years because that's would it'd take to get us competitive?

I think you just have to take your hat off to the club for pursuing an elite manager when the chance arose. Yes there's valid questions you could ask, but this is the ambition that the club has been crying out for.
