We’ll never know all the details, but it does seem like more incompetence from those in charge of Everton. However it is clear that Carlo was well paid before he left, I judge him badly for the pursuit of more £, even if we did owe it to him!

What he'd earned previously is irrelevant.

It doesn't matter what level you are as an employee, if you have been promised something contractually and the company doesn't fulfill that promise he's dead right to flag it up.

You're right, it was highly likely incompetence on Evertons side of things, it usually is..... Maybe this teaches the club a lesson in future on paying attention to contracts.

I'm glad he's got his settlement. Another kick in the bollocks for the incompetents that have been running the club for the past few years.
