In the unlikely scenario that they actually did field an ineligible player, they would probably receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist fine like Grimsby did against Manchester United. Grimsby's fine set the precedent and there would be outrage if Wolves were to receive a harsher punishment than Grimsby from both Manchester United and Wolves themselves.
