The Round Two draw of the Carabao Cup will take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland AFC on Wednesday 10 August.

Sky’s new Carabao Cup presenter for 2022/23, Mark Chapman, will host the draw with former Owls’ striker Clinton Morrison and Sunderland hero Michael Gray selecting the ties.

Personally very happy to see Chapman still on TV.

Great fella, went through a lot, and a cracking presenter.

As for the draw, please god avoid trips to Cleethorpes and to Lincoln. I start work at 7 lol

Morecambe home, that’ll do. Box some history off.

Are Championship teams in the draw for the first round? Just wondering if we got in a player from there or someone from Derby if they would be cup tied?

Yes bar Watford and Burnley who got byes to Round 2 due to finishing in the higher of the relegation spots

Them two, Norwich and Preston are the only ones in the R2 draw so far (the latter beating fellow Champ sides Birmingham and Huddersfield respectively), the other 9 crashed out to L1 and L2 sides, Millwall went out last week

5 more teams are in action tomorrow, Blackburn, Middlesbrough and Sunderland have potential upsets against Hartlepool, Barnsley and Sheff Weds while one will deffo fall between Coventry and Bristol City, likewise with the final game between West Brom and Sheff Utd on Thursday
