I need to be back in Liverpool by 9 after the game on Saturday or a divorce will be on the cards. If anyone is familiar with the area and the after match traffic, is it best to head west to the M40 or east to the M1, and if the latter do you avoid town centre snarl ups by parking up south of the ground and then going a bit more south before heading for the M1?

I used to live in the area mate - there will be less traffic going via the M40, but it's far easier to get onto the M1 from where you'll be

Avoid the M25 at all costs

Personally I'd try and park somewhere near Rickmansworth Rd (although there are parking restrictions in force around Vicarage Rd on match days), from there it's a straight road (it becomes St Albans Rd) back to the M1 at Junction 6

EDIT - Assuming you live in Liverpool, as long as you're on the M1 by 6pm (which you should do comfortably), you'll be fine unless you get unlucky with an accident

TEll her u may be late but you won't be traveling back down for the semi at Wembley I'll take your ticket and with the money you save you can treat her and save your marriage

Your welcome

Unless both the BBC and EFC websites are wrong, it's 5:15 mate
The BBC are reporting it as 15:00BST hence 3pm: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/everton

As are the Premier League: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/matches/2015-2016/epl.html/watford-vs-everton

I've also checked the official site: http://www.evertonfc.com/fixtures/2010-to-2019/2015-2016/barclays-premier-league/watford-vs-everton

William Hill are also saying it's 3pm: http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/e/9097338/Watford+v+Everton.html

Are you thinking about the correct game?
