The Walter Street one?
You just turn up and pay at the machine or use the App.
Thank you. Is there spaces available usually and what's the cost please.
Car park there is right beside the bus station and yhe services are every 10 mins, or once full its away and the next service hits the stand.I use Bootle Strand and get the shuttle bus. Quite inexpensive at about £4 to park and £2 each way on bus, unless you’re an old fart like me, then bus is free.
Shuttle gets to within easy walk of ground, a bit further to the bus stop on the way back, but no great hike. They seem to be managing traffic better of late, so buses are quite quick.
Just hijacking this thread to ask if anyone knows about any season pass type car parks relatively close to the ground? Like someone said above, the titanic one seems to be first come first serve, we would prefer being able to reserve one in advance. We use one off Westminister Road at the moment but its too much for my Grandad to make that walk every game. We are in the process of getting a blue badge sorted for him if that helps at all.
Yes, but be warned if you dont leave before the end of the match it will take an hour to get out as there are lights controlling Walter Street.
For that reason we now use the stations free car parking and take the train to/from Sandhills.
Cost for an 'Event' is £15.
Taking my 7 year old who will want to leave after an hour.
Do you need to arrive hours before or will 2pm suffice?
Better parking at Aintree and getting the train to Sandhills IMO.Just hijacking this thread to ask if anyone knows about any season pass type car parks relatively close to the ground? The car park?
We tried to get there for one hour before kick off. It was fine getting there apart from the lights into CostCo.
Its a normal standard car park so you can leave whenever you like.
