Can We Succeed Next Season Without Breaking FFP?

Financial fair play is the complete opposite of what it should be. If they wanted to make it fair then every team should have a max budget, max wages that are the same. Saying teams can spend what they earn only means the bug teams can spend more on wages and transfer fees and gives teams no chance of then becoming regular league/champions league contenders.

Any team sanctioned with it if they fight it would 100% win in my opinion, right now it’s nothing more than a cartel of the big clubs to stay big and everyone else to stay smaller than the select group of teams.

as for the thread question, no we won’t succeed with it, the same way man city, Chelsea, psg etc wouldn’t have. Someone will fight this at some point and it will be removed, it’s no better than the super league they tried to create in regards to it being unfit and unfair for the huge majority.

Absolutely no financial reasons why Everton can't be challenging for the top 6 each and every season, as a 60+ point team.

Becoming a 75+ points team is next to impossible, we are talking about a spending increase of £150m a year to compete at that level.

Unfortunately, Everton is really badly run. The basics aren't in place and that comes from the top. At the moment I see the likes of Villa and Leeds passing us more likely than Everton moving up the table.

It is actually not that hard to copy the structure the best run clubs have but for whatever reason, it isn't on the agenda at Everton.

Grealish 100m, interested in kane 150m ,how can city do this but we have to look over our shoulder every time we sign someone. Strange imo.

This very much depends on your definition of success. We can be successful in that we can be in and around 7th place but this very much depends on our front line 11 get on with injuries. There are areas where we have no meaningful cover. Gbamin will be a big factor, if he can step up and fill the third midfield spot and Kean does likewise in attack then we will be fine. A few injuries in crucial places and we are struggling.

They’re probably sailing as close to the limit as we are, only they are doing from a higher revenue postion.
Champs league and EPL winnings etc vs no European revenue and significantly lower EPL placing.
Mansoor is paying them questionable sums of money for sponsorship via Eithad etc in the same way USM give us money only we can’t claim the going / top rate for top tier sponsorship as we aren’t performing in the top tier
