Offer him the job, sell the project to him. If he says no, he says no - we move down the list. I wouldn't wait until July personally, there's a lot of work that needs doing between now and the first day of the season. If he's waiting for ManUre, let him wait and move on - I'd love Mourinho as manager but not at the cost of pre-season. Come on Jose lad, you know it makes sense.

Not really.

Koeman would doubtless prefer United as well.

Probably every manager in the world would prefer to manage United over EFC.
