Calzaghe v Roy Jones Jr

I can't see what else is out there for joe now, the only fight i would like him to take if he carries on fighting is carl froch (super middleweight) but i think froch would have to challenge and beat kessler first.

Best fight ive watched in years, those 2 could have punched each other all night and neither would have quit, Jones landed the better punches but the stats showed Joe threw over 900 punches, my word.

Im not into all the taunting your opponent thing, Ali did because he could but it makes you look a melt half the time.

But Calzaghe, incredible stuff. Ive never seen Jones dominated like that from the third onwards. Cracking fight, if youre a Calzaghe fan like.

Froch is not in the same league as Jones, Hopkins etc. The problem is that he's four fights away from bettering Marcianos record and getting 50-0. If not then he could retire now as one of the greats.

I didnt say he was, but who else could he fight? he is only after big fights that will fill stadiums and big pay days. thats why i said froch would have to beat kessler and be a world champion.

The Kessler fight was the one where I believe Calzaghe was tested most, and that rematch billed right could be the huge payday both would like.

To get the american market thirsty enough, perhaps send Lacy at Kessler first. (I actually believe Kessler is the supreme boxer compared to Calzaghe, but Calzaghe has such an unorthodox style and throws impossible punches that boggle the mind to witness, let alone be on the receiving end of).

i have to disagree with you there, kessler is a very one dimensional boxer where as joe calzaghe is able to change his style half way through a fight if things need changing, that is the mark of a great fighter. I think froch and kessler would be a great match up.

Pavlik-Calaghe would have been a great fight only Pavilk got taken to school by Hopkins a month ago so he's going back down to his normal weight.

Or shave his head, that works very well.

Run around alot and you'll be presented with the "unsung hero" tag season in season out.:D
