I can't see it, too much of a risk, unless he wanted to sign a heavily incentivised contract. When you hear links to players like this though, or in a different sense Grealish, the natural instinct is to think that Moyes is either too risk averse and/or too much of a disciplinarian, but then you stop and think about it; he's worked with Saha (injury prone) and given chances to the likes of Gibson, Ferguson, Drenthe, Van Der Meyde, and probably one or two more of that ilk. I do wonder if his stance on players partying a bit too hard is 'none of my business what you do outside of work as long as you train well and are available for selection'; in fact, when you look at some of the players he's signed, you really do have to wonder if he will actively seek them out if he thinks he can drag something out of them. Drenthe and Van Der Meyde obviously couldn't burn the candle at both ends, so to speak, but he never seemed to let the lifestyles of Dunc or Gibson stop him from selecting them and wanting to keep them.
Pre edit; Pienaar was no angel either.
