Reaching out to any Blues in California as I'm working there shortly for a month. My time is gonna be split between Palo Alto and Balboa Island / LA areas.

Can anyone advise where are good places to watch the match with other Blues - especially in Palo Alto please?

I live in the area but given the kick off time of most of the matches am rarely keen to go out so haven't looked to find any local supporters groups or places to watch the match.

If you are on facebook you might try the Northern California branch and see if they know anywhere http://efc-usa.blogspot.com/2013/01/us-everton-fc-supporters-clubs.html

At a guess San Francisco might be the best bet, I think they meet up at McTeagues on Polk

Hope you enjoy your time here, autumn is usually a lovely time to visit.

I'm the same as you...4 AM to 6 AM is no time to be going to the pub to watch footy. We've had a couple of games a bit later, but still daft o' clock to be doing the pub IMO.

The King's Head in Santa Monica is where I used to go watch games.

There were always plenty of Blues in there.

Cheers Mate. Have found a place on Balboa Island that's opening at 4.30am for the Derby so that's a great start

Thanks @Khalekan. I'll have a look at the ling's head in Santa Monica. Do you know if the Europa league games are usually shown?

Gosh....I haven't been out on the coast since 2006 so that was before the EL started.

They showed CL games though, albeit I never bothered with those as they never concerned us.

I am certain they will show the EL games...check with them. The link below has a telephone number.

It's good craic of a Saturday for a 5.30 kick off because that works out near enough mid morning in LA and we would have went on a bender....but I really loved when we were on Sky of a Monday night.....finishing work at lunchtime and off down the King's Head.

And I wish I was going to be out there in SoCal with you.....best place in der werrrld......;)

Yeah been on there. Went to the Kings Head in SM for the Chelsea match but only 3 other blues there, everyone else was Chelsea. Was very dissapointed!
