I did used to like those saucy sponge things, that turned themselves ndsıpÇ￾ poÊ￾u and were pish to make. Chocolate with a choc sauce beneath after about 20 minutes.


Is a Torte a cake ? like choc of those too.

Battenberg is a great shout.

But for me anything with chocolate or fudge, or better yet both. A nice nutella and banana loaf goes down well, too.

Failing those, then a traditional cheesecake or strawberry cheesecake is a winner, as is a black forest gateaux. Delicious. Any of those with a massive cup of tea or glass of semi skimmed milk.
