Ossie isn't a water carrier though. Neither is Fellaini to be honest.

Heitinga would be my choice but only because Neville moves like he's on the moon.

For a few different reasons i dont mind Nev in there, though he wasnt as good in the last few games, so my opinion on that is shifting.

Regardless i think we have options, Ossie has actually played some big games in there and done well, but i know what you mean, Felli would have to do much of the heavy lifting it would have to be shifting roles and Mofro putting in a yeard dog defensive shift.

I actually dont mind Heitnga in there but i dont see it. Lets be honest he will play wee Stevie ahead of Mofro and Nev.

You think the Belg lad would have started against Newcastle i would have been astounded mate we have loads of options especially in midfield. What the worse that can happen Felli drops back and wee Stevie starts behind Jela, Belg Kev starts we win - every things gravey!

hey neils, care to explain to me why the heck mirallas is not in bold on your sig? fuming at FIFA and olympiacos here

Harsh, death.

That was actually intended. Not as a criticism of the guy but to poitn out that even though 8 months ago thats what most of us would have viewed him as, yet once he slotted into the team, showed what he can do and showed just how important it is to have an actual midfielder playing in midfield.

The player himself doesn't have to be a world beater to be an important part of the team. However they do need to be good at what they do.

Gibson is, there's a reason he is so important to us and its not because he's the best midfielder in the Prem.

To think people where saying they was happy with the window long before this guy was even mentioned and now people all assuming he was to become the next big thing when it's just as likely he could have become another Nyarko or Castillio

I never said that and I shouldn't be held accountable for what other people said.

'To think people were saying it's okay to kill millions of jews and now I chop the hand off just one of them and it's suddenly a big deal' is not a line of defence that is likely to work.

Why are you so negative about Everton?

John Lundstram, lack of experience but defensively has a lot more to offer than Barkley.

So you wasnt happy we let ONE first team regular who was also injured a lot and brought in what 3 very decent players?

Stop blaming it all on Neville FFS.

Fellaini has dropped deep in both of the last two games and we have looked shite when he has done so.

Stop acting like Fellaini and Osman/Heitinga or whoever is somehow vastly superior to Fellaini and Neville. They're all shite without Gibson!

I thought we needed cover for Jelavic, Baines and Gibson and a starter at right wing. Moyes obviously thought the same as that's what we went out to buy.

I'm both pleased that we got three of those four targets and displeased that we didn't get the fourth. Allow me the ability for emotions somewhere in between totally overjoyed and totally despondant.

It's pure bad luck that our sole injury so far is in the one area of the field we don't have any decent cover but that doesn't mean it hurts us any less as a a team.

Gibson is important due to the role he played. He was surplus to requirements at United as they had a wealth of talent in midfield but that doesn't make him a bad player. He does the simple stuff well and he has excellent positioning. I badly, badly underrated him before he joined to be honest.

Having Neville in midfield instead of Gibson is like starting 1-0 down.

Well its not 1-0 down as because we wear Nike we were 1-0 up. Therefore its now 1-1. I reckon as of Newcastle as 1-1 is practically the same as 0-0 all games will start 0-0. Massive 100% top ITK.

Om a serious note i am nearly sure that it is the buying countries transfer window that decides whether a deal can go through. Like we could of signed Landon even though the MLS window was closed and Russian clubs can sign players from us even though are window is closed.
