Because we can't sign him on a months loan deal from no one! He's a free agent. And there's a minimum length contract in the Premier League for players - you can't sign anyone for just a month except with EPL dispensation for an emergency 'keeper.

Anyone we sign has to be until June 2013. See McFadden last year etc. for details.

I never saw that lad play but i doubt he would have walked straight into our first team, wasnt he our second or third choice anyway.

Interesting the PL and FA have supported the move, it was made before the deadline, but Fifa wont sanction it, i wonder did the lad or his club sign something with Fulham.
