It's the best answer there is. They dont learn because they are incompetent buffoons. Now they just release a statement insinuating (but not having the courage to state openly) that FIFA are to blame...and then they prime the local hacks to point the finger at Brugges for good measure. But there's only one reason this didn't happen: it was 11th hour keystone cops horse trading again.

It's fairly obvious to me that that we spent the rest of the Rodwell money on new cars for our board and on bankrolling Kenwrong's next play, and chose to make a false bid for this guy so people would blame FIFA until the next transfer window at which point we'd have all forgotten about the Rodwell money.

According to Bruges the blame lies with the FA, as they submmitted the apply for the transfer of Vadis from Bruges to Everton too late.
