Digne MOTM for me. Never imagined we would be able to replace Baines with someone even better but we did thanks to Brands and Silva. Every aspect of the guy from personality to ability is simply awesome. Thought Bernard was excellent today too. Looked sharp right from the off and caused mayhem and is starting to get used to and find his form in the premier league. Mina was excellent today too.

We were real good but let's not act like that was some sudden return to great form. We aren't going to be scoring 2 screamers every week and they had at least 1 bad miss. 5-1 was a bit flattering and they had way more of the ball than Burnley ever should. Work to do but what a great day for the Blues.

And Gylfi is so so underrated by a lot of Blues. His performance today was very, very good. Worked his butt off as always, tried and succeeded with the lovely intricate passes and stepped up to the plate despite recent penalty mishaps.
One swallow does not make a summer, he's been below average for 2 months, he needs to put in good performances consistently.

They had more of the ball because we let them, though. We are a far better counter-attacking side, and today we took our chances.

We should have had more results like this, but we haven't taken our chances in games and have been punished.

We could easily scored three at both Anfield and the Etihad. It's no surprise that on the day we take our chances, we score five at Burnley.
