Strange game football. Not one of our better performances this season but somehow we run out winners with 5 goals scored. Shows the difference when you are clinical and have a bit of luck on your side. That Burnley goal goes in early second half and we would have been all over the place for the next 40 minutes. 3 points on the board, ok performance, battering from Sunday put to bed. Played blues, onto Brighton.

God, I don't like any of those clubs but I get frustrated travelling absolutely miles to places that have tiny attendance capacities and some pathetic fan bases.

For all I dislike about them, I'd have the likes of Villa, Forest, Derby, Leeds, Wednesday and The Blades over your Southamptons, Bournemouth, Watford etc.

To be fair, Burnley isn't too bad as it isn't that far away and there's a good selection of boozers on the way, while the rugby ground next to is very accommodating.

I remember him hitting the post once but you may be right with it being a couple of times.

I was there that day mate, in the corner of the away end behind the goal, but didn't remember much tbh due to vast amounts of Stella,we started off about 9 in the morning;):drunk:

You seem
disappointed we won. You only seek out the negatives. I only pointed out that ridiculous stat because it was being used against Silva in favour of Allardyce but you didn't see the irony in it.

Not disappointed with today. Still disappointed in our last showing against someone half-decent.

What a response that was.

Thought barring the goal and the sitter after half-time, did a very good job dealing with the long ball. Keane looks 10x better in the middle of a three.

Second half did a great job of just suffocating them of much and then countering, fourth was a worldie.

We did do well and the players managed the game very well. Didn't look to go gun ho and defended the lead sensibly whilst still looking to break and score. The players used there heads.

Told yous we'd smash their back doors in. Digne is pyar class. Baines might get a few minutes against Lincoln but he's done apart from that. What a free kick and what a true hit for his second. DCL and Coleman our very very obvious weak links.

Everton winning 5-1 was predicted by 17 super 6 players,-i know theres over a million but still wouldnt predict that,Everton could not reply in any better way than they did,but if Tarkowski scores that 2nd mins after ht,this could have been so different, thankfully it wasnt and we could have scored more really

As you say mate, all about being clinical with the chances you get, if only we had been as clinical in some of our other games we would have been right up there.
