We’ve still clearly got some work to do, especially in defending, but it is rather encouraging that we have a variety of ways to score now including set pieces.

This is true and clear to see for most of us but we know the negatives and we have positives also. Brands and Silva will be working on them if they are given a chance and more than one window.

Played really well overall.

A shaky spell either side of HT, but they didn't do anything bar the goal.

For once, we were clinical - no major chances missed - and look what happened. We trounced a team because we create plenty.

Yes, Burnely are gash, but that's the reaction we needed. Shame about City, like, muppets.

That's what I was saying before the game. We've hopefully put some of the recent issues to bed and we've finally shown spirit, tempo and that we can be clinical.

There's a lot of ifs and buts, however another victory against Burnley alongside a decent enough performance and Leicester at home will be much more buoyant.
