I can’t lay the blame for this with Lampard. All of the bad decisions over the last 5 years in terms of transfers and managerial appointments have coincided with awful injuries to key players and rotten luck to lead us to this position. This is reminiscent of Leeds 20 odd years ago, Newcastle and Villa more recently. No one is too big to go down, and we are clearly not too good to go down. A mess.

He can make some decisions to help them.
Jj kenny should never be near the starting line up and not only has he started most games under Lampard he also played him out of position.

Make some subs when you team cannot run and their legs have gone when your opposition manager makes 3

We were beaten by skill and technique though, they never fluked that, it's us who had the 2 pens.

We were beaten because "defenders" didn't do their job - ie defend/mark/clear the ball effectively...including Pickford's Norman Wisdom type clearance in their winning goal build up. I never mentioned a fluke on their part.. they didn't need a fluke when we simply handed it to them on a bleedin plate.

Our luck did change. We got TWO penalties (one very generous) away from home in the first half. What do you want me to believe in? The players who are paid more in a week than I earn in a year are the ones who need to fight - and they’re not doing it.
