Today I was reminded of the awesome playground shenanigans of my youth. "Bundle" was the main one, the concept was simple... someone would shout 'BUNDLE' then everyone in proximity would pile on top of one unsuspecting person. You'd end up with 20 bodies piled up on top of each other with it usually ending in a mixture of joyous laughter, cries of pain and panicked breathing from those unfortunate enough to have had the fat kids land on them. Great times.
The best thing about Bundle was that it was non-discriminatory, it was a game all kids could participate in. It didn't matter if you were the popular sporty kid or the briefcase carrying poindexter, everyone was invited and everyone played. It was the game of the people but sadly the authorities took it away from us after Tim Ratcliffe's mum complained about him having to go to hospital due to injuries sustained from an abnormally large bundle. Killjoys. It didn't stop us, we resorted to the next most primitive game we could think of, Knuckles.
