Is it worked out per minute played with variables for those in defensive positions in and around the box? Naturally players such as keepers and defenders take more actions per game that can lead to goals conceded.
And defenders who have played 250+ games will very likely have made more errors than defenders who played 10 games for the club.
Where do long serving players such as Brian Labone stand in this all time list? How was every appearance he made assessed for errors leading to goals as I imagine there isn't the same kind of statistical or video sources available as there are for modern day players.
Where are turn of the 19/20th century stalwarts like Jack Taylor in the ALL TIME LIST that you're providing? How were his appearances assessed to the same degree as modern day players?
