Brentford Ballot results

Two out of three had ballot success in all games so far.

Is it really that difficult for fans to get tickets at this stadium as forecast?

If you dont get a ballot result you can pick one up in the resale and even days / weeks later for some games.

Is the novelty wearing off already in terms of match day attendance with loads having satisfied their curiosity?

The streak continues! 5 successful in a row taking me to 7/10 tickets from ballot. Up to 70% ballot success rate.

Pattern:

Brighton - No
Villa - No
West Ham - Yes
Crystal Palace - Yes
Tottenham - No
Fulham - Yes
Newcastle - Yes
Forest - Yes
Arsenal - Yes
Brentford - Yes

Got South Upper which was on my picks, can't remember if I put it first or second

Four on the bounce successful now after the initial no success for the first five games. Did not apply for Fulham due to holiday.

Brighton - No
Villa - No
West Ham - No
Palace - No
Tottenham - No
Fulham - N/A
Newcastle - Yes
Forest - Yes
Arsenal - Yes
Brentford - Yes

Feel like there must be fewer people applying for such a shift in fortunes. I only ever put Upper North and South now.

Definitely feel like there's less competition, feels like I can't fail at the moment. Sure it'll come again but something has definitely changed since the initial rush, either less entries or the games coming around so quick people are missing the ballot period or budgeting (there's a ballot three weeks on the trot this month!)

Edit - Actually come the Leeds ballot next Monday there will have been a ballot four weeks in a row!

Yep and that is undoubtedly beyond the means of many.
I've been fortunate and had success again in the Brentford ballot.
Brighton - No
Villa - No
West Ham - Yes
Palace - No
Tottenham - No (got on resale)
Fulham - No (got on resale)
Newcastle - Yes
Forest - Yes
Arsenal - (didn't enter ballot, but got tickets on resale)
Brentford - Yes

EDIT I also went the cup game. Don't think that was that a ballot was it? Can't remember. 🤷‍♂️

There was always going to be a slight drop in demand once the novelty wore off. I would guess at similar happening with season tickets next year as well- a fair few people were holding on for the move, and might well knock it off in the near future.

Speaking to around half dozen mates who entered ballots, theyve dropped off entering mainly because of infrastructure to and from the stadium. Was the price of the Adult tickets ( £73 + £78 inc m'ship ) but the hassle / travel to and from the stadium has now come to the front.

Got to factor in the weather too. Not quite as enticing a prospect wandering down there with the wind and rain whipping in off the sea.
