Finally found myself a new place to live. Moving to Muswell Hill in North London tomorrow in a big shared house with what seems like cool people. A million times nicer than Bethnal Green, about £200 a month cheaper, and a damn sight closer to work than Twickenham.

Nice one mate. I'm at Uni in Mile End (i.e. a stones throw away from Bethnal Green) and can confirm that the general area is a bit of a hole!

I didn't get a great feel for Bethnal Green to be honest. I lived in an old council block though and all I could hear was screaming and police sirens. I reckon it could be a good area if you get a shared house with cool people. It's close to central too. It's pretty expensive for what you get, though.

They didn't when I did it. That was about 4 years ago (in the UK).

I wouldn't recommend being sat in the jury box checking your updates though, I suspect the big wig may frown.
