I just swotted a fly in my room with my hand, it landed on my t-shirt and looked dead, I picked it up and put it in my palm, then it came back to life and flew away! How annoying!

Up to the point where I found out the 38 year old father had taken his own knife out to confront the knife wielding robber I was rather f*$%ed off about him getting 6 years as well as losing an eye and thereby his means of employment. Acknowledge that really he should have phoned the coppers and shadowed the 10 times convicted (for assault) thief and hammered him as they arrived. If he hadn't taken his own knife along and he'd have suffered his injuries and then ended up with the knife point robber dying - I'd have given him a medal, a big payout and wished him fair thee well on his way.
Very glad the robber is dead, one less scum stain walking the streets prepared to do violence. Hope to god his family are besides themselves because the family of the bloke going to prison now sure are. (Furthermore, with some good behaviour his 6 years might end up as short as 3 or even just 30 months).
