Neil Harvey from Russia Today on SSN now. Compared him to Gascoigne and Lampard and said he think he'd be 'slightly wasted' on the wing. Said he's 'not as spectacular' as Arshavin and will have to bulk up his 'wiry' frame but said he's been bought at the right time and the feeling in Russia is that he'll be very successful in England. Seemed a good but sober reference.

Perhaps I should clarify. Specifically he said that he makes 'goal scoring runs' the way that Gascoigne used to and that he believes his best position to be 'as the spear head of a packed Everton midfield, the role Frank Lampard plays for Chelsea.' I still reckon Moyes'll use him on either wing.
Osman can do a job sometimes, I didnt say we should sell him, I just said he will now become a steady squad player hopefully. If you were looking forward to another season of Hibbert and Osman, im sorry, but the thought of it made me want to drink bleach.
Osman is fairly decent, but for me he doesnt have the frame to be anything more than back up player.

Over the past seasons, they've mostly turned out to be amazing buys....knew of Arteta, Cahill, Jags, Lescott, Carsely, Baines etc etc but I'll happily admit I didn't think some of them and others would be as good as they have become

Looking at that youtube video package: anyone else think his first touch is not exactly top class and that he let's the ball run away from him a little further than he should? He's a good athlete and has good balance and that gets him out of the [Poor language removed] in those clips I watched. Will he get that room in our Premier League?
