I dont remember. At first he weared it in 'second' (youthful) team and didnt change it when was drawn to main squad.
EDIT: I found, Bilya have had this number by chance when he got his first shirt in Lokomotiv.

Just seen Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's interview on Everton tv, he speaks good English.

He said we can call him Billy, he prefers the left wing but he doesn't mind playing on the right, he's not a winger, more of an attacking midfielder (like Pienaar) and he's going to wear the number 7 shirt.

He looks a fantastic player from what ive seen of him. I cant wait to see how he does in the premiership. If he does as well as Pienaar, I'd be over the moon.
