This contract was unexpected for people but not for us. Because we prepared this agreement for a long time and very carefully. We just did not want to show it off in advance.
The negotiations were going on hard. We asked for a huge sum of money [£9 million]. And Everton sought for a compromise. The Englishmen could not pay the whole sum and asked for installments so in general it was rather long and difficult.

Aha, so it was a typical Everton transfer after all! Well at least it got done! Here's to some more 'long and difficult' transfers being concluded shortly!!

He said to me Tues that Taylor had been aproached but was LOATHE TO LEAVE THE NORTH EAST . I asked was it now off , he said no . Updates as / when .

Though , we DID approach Distin but , L.C.A.B. whispers to lads , .. Cahill is / was the preferred option , but 8 mill is too much .( We got 24 !!! )

Pace alone isn't the be all and end all, but what will do is make teams defend deeper when we have the ball. We still need to have the ball, however...

Does anyone know if this Lad is eligable for us in the the group stages of the Europa League. I remember the main article saying he couldnt play cus UEFA Registration deadline. But dont you re register when the actual group stages start..sorry before.
