Wish I had good news to bring but I'm afraid that's not the case:


Hi everyone I wasn't going to post till I had official results but I feel like I need to let Bradley's supporters know what's happening with the scans.

Bradley has had scans the last couple of days to see if treatment is working. Bradley's consultant has had a look at the images and give us some information but we will have to wait for the official results.

Unfortunately the results are not what we wanted to hear. Bradley scans show that there has been a small reduction in some parts however there is a new tumour on the bottom of his back. As you can imagine we are devastated and heart broken with this news as I really wanted the new treatment to work. We are not sure where we go from here as it will depend on his bone marrow biopsy results. He is getting this done tomorrow but results won't be back for another week.

Why is life so cruel? Why do we have to get bad news time after time? Why does my baby not get a break?

Stay strong, concentrate on the positive news that part of the tumour has reduced and hope that trend continues, the secondary tumour may yet respond to more conventional treatment? It must feel that every single time you move forward, something happens to make you slide back, but there is a glimmer of positive in your message, so please hang on to that and if there is any justice in this poxy world, your little champ will turn the corner and start to beat it. If anyone can he can!
You have raised a fighter and because of that he has a fighters chance, I hope if helps you to know that he has genuinely touched and connected with so many people he has never met. May God bless and save him!

I wish I had the answer, I really do.

All I can say, at this point in time, is that little Bradley has had a profound affect on many hard nosed Blues & countless Sunderland fans. He has managed to unite many people in ways that they never imagined & that is a legacy that we will always treasure from him.

Sharing his story has given us all pause for reflection & I sincerely thank you for that. We can never feel this as keenly as you but we're all a part of Bradleys extended family now.
