Boxing

Jonas definitely had the cleaner, harder shots. Taylor throws flashy weak combos, it's hard to show replays as a lot hit the gloves. Sky will always opt for the slow mo clean one punch shot.

The punch stats there would show Jonas clearly winning power shots whilst Taylor lands the greater output with lower accuracy.

For me, boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. Jonas did that better tonight than Taylor overall, but quantity edged out quality
Jonas had about 4 rounds where she didnt do a tap. Taylor just keeps the scorecard ticking over.

Very hard to lay a big boomer on Taylor. She went her entire amateur career with barely a hair out of place.

Canelo/Saunders apparently off due to ring size dispute.

If so, actually can't blame the Saunders team too much as there's only so much you can allow the deck stacked against you. Canelo on home turf, Cinco De Mayo, already am uphill task without having a smaller ring.

The ring BJS wants is bigger than the biggest ring even allowed in the UK. If it's not written into the contract its a bit daft that hes bringing it up.

The ring is apparently 20ft which is the maximum allowed by the British boxing board, BJS will have fought the majority of his fights. I can't see the fight being cancelled.

I heard he got beat in a fight of the year contender???
Yeah smith lost, was a decent scrap, smith unlucky tbh, kubanov landed the heavier shots but overall had smith winning most of the rounds just never had the power to put him down, scorecard was a joke as you’d expect over there.

The ref though, swear he was kurbanovs auld feller, about 5 times he should’ve took a point but just waved it on

I reckon Canelo stops Saunders late. Around 9th-10th round. Saunders will be slippery and look good early doors but I remember how he gassed pretty badly against Eubank Jr, and Canelo obviously is many steps above that. He'll stop him to the body imo.

Regardless, Saunders can't actually win. He lacks power, so can't see a KO at all, and he could win every round and lose a decision over there. As much as I dislike him, I respect the fact he's took that fight on.

Saunders sent Barry McGuigan tweets about buying his own daughter a bunch of flowers just after McGuigan's daughter died of cancer.

McGuigan had spoken up about the cancer affecting Irish boxing that is MTK - Saunders promoter.

He is a scumbag with the IQ of a tadpole who is a mouthpiece for a major drug cartel.

Save your respect for someone who deserves it. If Saunders gets badly hurt it tonight it shouldn't bother anyone.

Being able to get an HD view of Kate Abdo in tight fitting black leather trousers is worth the £1.99 DAZN subscription fee alone
Like a fine wine.

That's the 3rd time in as many cards I've watched recently I've seen a fighter go down easy looking for a dq. The crowd was not having it tonight.

Going to be brawls in the stands like the Ruiz fights.

I think Canelo gets it done earlier around the 5th or 6th when he catches him trying to slip out of trouble.
