I'll find it if it's real, but Joshua would keep more credibility bouncing the Undertaker and hulk hogan around in summerslam.

Either the money is amazing or there was only Usyk on the table, and he simply was out of ideas. A slightly more skilled Frank Bruno.

Hearn has been talking of Joshua taking a warm up fight before next year. He’ll make a ridiculous amount of money to batter an incredibly dislikable person and awful boxer in Jake Paul. I don’t like it (and also think it is dangerous for Paul) but completely understand why he would take the fight.

Joshua’s legacy has basically been ruined now anyway. Why take probably a tenth of the money to fight someone random? His career path now is basically Tyson Fury or hoping Usyk retires and he gets a title fight against some chump that has been gifted the belt by being mandatory while not very good.

I get the money part. But to what degree ?

I get the fact he needs his name back in the public eye. is this really a good way of advertising your name again ?

Joshua / Fury got boring years ago, the never ending boxing story.

Have either of them really got the balls to go beyond words and bow out in defeat to the other after this length of trash talk.

It's not about either fighters to me, it could be any names out there.

It is just another Sport/Contest selling itself to the devil and becoming a total Cringefest.
 
Story about the Paul-Joshua rumours popped up on one of my feeds.
Seems an odd choice for Paul. He's yet to fight a boxer, that's less than 40, and someone in his weight class at the same time unless that person was the very average little brother of an actual boxer.
If this fight was real, he'd be in serious danger.
I get the money thing, but he can make ridiculous money fighting circus fights for the next few years.
Actual boxing is a dangerous sport.
 

Is Joshua vs Paul an actual real thing? Surely it will be an exhibition with similar rules to Tank vs Paul? Im pretty sure they was making Tank wear 16oz gloves so god knows what ounce they’ll make Joshua wear.

Obviously Joshua is at the end of his career and only wants the Fury fight so makes sense to go and earn millions with only a couple of big purses left. Not a fan of it, it stinks. Good on him getting the money but he goes down in my estimation for this.

I have no problem with Jake Paul, cracks me up how he gets people so wound up. Would like to see someone clean him out though.

According to Hearn it will be an actual fight with proper rules, 10oz gloves. Joshua could genuinely kill him or at least do serious damage to him. Paul is not a proper boxer and much smaller.

Like you say though, what can you really believe with him and these things nowadays.
It could just all end up being publicity for both people.

It’s in Miami isn’t it? I like Hearn, but you’re right. Wouldn’t trust him to tell the truth but no boxing board would sanction it. If they was forcing Tank to wear 16oz gloves, they’d make AJ wear those blow up boxing gloves you get for kids.

Supposed to be Miami yeah but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it moved if it needs to be “sanctioned” and there are 10s of millions on the table.

If Hearn is being honest then I agree with him that it shouldn’t be an exhibition. Joshua would be able to take that fight in a few years and still make silly money. But while he is still hoping/pretending to be a real boxer it would be a stupid move. It’s probably a stupid move either way as all it will achieve is enhancing his net worth, will do nothing for him in boxing terms.
