Boxing

Of course he is putting himself in harms way . GGG is probably the best in boxing at cutting off the ring . Brook won't be able to run all night and that's not brooks style anyway .
yep power in both hands, will be patient and wait to time the smaller man, you can be as quick as you like, but if your opponent can afford to wait to start timing you because he is a few weights bigger, you are in trouble

Exactly. I like brook and admire him for taking this but he had no choice for 2 years he's had 2 pull outs ( Chavez and Vargas ) the stabbing incident and he's fought Dann and Gavin . His career couldn't afford another easy fight or lay off . Getting beat by golovkin at least keeps him relevant in the states and earns him a wedge

How can he being accused of ducking canelo who vacated the WBC belt to avoid golovkin and fight Liam bloody smith and kovalev who is signed to fight ward in November and who has another warm up fight in a few weeks ?

Also canelo and kovalev fight at weights 31lb apart and you accuse GGG of avoiding Both lol you couldn't make this crap up .

I was going to reply to him but you pretty much said it all.

A lot of people seem to be underestimating how good a boxer GGG is because he has power. He has great technique and excellent footwork. I can't see anyway brook can win.

Brook has a slim chance because of his ability but theres absolutely no way he goes into this as a favourite lol
Golovkin punches twice as hard as anybody Kell has fought and is also very difficult to out-box. Brook winning would be a massive shock.

There's people who think Brook will be a favourite, he doesn't have a chance, not a chance of beating GGG, no way, simple, never mind him being favourite.

It'll end like the Khan Canelo bout, with a one punch ko, the only question is when. Really disappointed it isn't Eubank tbh, at least he's at his weight, this making fights between two unevenly matched size fighters is getting ridiculous. Two weight classes and 13lbs is huge, the moment GGG lands anything of note Brook is going to be in trouble, Carson Jones had him rocked in their first fight, thats a light punching average fighter at 147, what do people think is going to happen against a brutal heavy hitting 160lb elite fighter like GGG ?

It smacks of Hearn getting the better purse by sending Brook in, i'm not quite sure has he as much of a stake in Eubank as he does Brook. It wasn't so long ago he was going on about how the Khan bout was ridiculous, and 'dangerous' , this is easily just as much if not more but Eddie has changed his tune. Massive fan of GGG but his resumee is awful, especially for a 34 year old, and this will do nothing for it, except money and probably a big uk following going forward after he finishes Brook.

Big pay day for Brook too, but even in the interview I watched, I don't even think he believes he stands a chance, which he doesn't.

Really looking forward to Crawford Postol on the 23rd, Crawford has looked class, but this'll be far and away his toughest test, Postol looks huge at that weight, one of them fights i'm surprised Arum has given us, should be good.

Yeah cracking fight . Crawford is class

He'll probably go up if he wins, he's looked brilliant so far, that's why i'm a bit surprised Bob has put him in with Postol.

It's a great match though, prob 2 best at the weight, which we see all too scarcely these days.
it's very suprising arum has made this fight . Santa Cruz v frampton the week after as well.

Santa Cruz and Crawford points double for me

Eubank has been shown up for the Absolute divvy he is, his father is living his career out again through Jr. and embarrassing him. I and many other fans would've respected him for taking the fight, despite knowing he can't win.

Instead SR gets involved and starts demanding all kinds the kin bad weapon, forgetting his son has had one big fight and lost.

Good luck to brook, he'll be lucky to go 3 rounds.

Around 4/1, not bad, not even a fan but have a feeling Frampton wins, think S Cruz style will suit, their 2 good back to back fights to look forward too.

I can't stand frampton but I think he wins this, he's a cracking boxer. I do worry about Shane though, seems to be getting a bit big for his boots and taking on a lot of fighters.

I hadn't even checked the odds but I'll Defo be having a crack at that now though . I like frampton but I've got a bad dislike for Barry Mcguigan . He used to be decent on sky as well.
