rico used his bulk on lighter feet than fury. much more mobile and prepared to press and lean.

usyk looked slow for the weight gained.

but, he still had cobras in those shots late on. a very calculated and accurate puncher.

not seen a stop that late in a long time.

The ending reminded me a bit of Froch/Taylor fight - if less dramatic.

Usyk was losing for me, even if I don’t think it was as wide as some people had it - just the fact he was losing alone is unbelievable. FairPlay to him though - took a lot of character to pull his legacy out of the fire with that shot.

Rico was fantastic - much better than I thought he would be. It does make me think it’s a weak division though, and some fighters just don’t have the stamina and resilience to beat usyk. Both Chisora to an extent and now Rico have shown if you work hard and hound him then it’s possible.

a couple of the previous belt holders haven't been busy enough when fighting and expected opponents to come to them.

I think it's the ability of both to eat a shot and push on straight after. A lot of Usyks wins are people backing up from him and getting caught.
