Boxing Day at Goodison....the highs and the lows.

Howard and Osman can do that to you lol
I thought I had repressed these memories.... now they appear to be flowing back. My stability is ebbing. You see what I've done there?

Should I still blame Howard for his distribution to Osman? Or was it Leon, for stupidly dilly dallying on the ball and losing possession?

I think I need to go for a lie down...

First Everton game I was ever at was 1998 boxing day, nil all draw with Derby.
To this day it is still the worst game I have ever seen...

Didn't expect this type of thread at all, full on expecting a prophecy....

Stoke, the high balls and the low blows, putting the big fight live into boxing day 2014.

The 2 - 6 result was just about the pits. Most miserable Boxing Day ever with a lousy journey back to Ireland and the bitterness of half digested turkey. Damn you, Eberton.

I lived in Stretford back then and had to go home on my motorbike, freezing cold to a house full of gloating Manu family... I hated Macari and co with a passion that day and for a long, long time afterwards.

I hated Macari even more in 1983 after he came on as sub in about the 24th minute of injury time in the cup 1/4 final at Old Traffart and set up the winner for Stapleton:rant:
