I mean yes, you hvae to use the chess pieces correctly, but he's still absolutely rubbish. Offers absolutely nothing in any area. Nothing.

He isn't that, and his record prior to this season shows it. It's one of those deals where you have to use the chess piece correctly, and we just haven't.
