Schneiderlin, Keane, Martina, McCarthy, Lennon, Jagielka, Martina and unfortunately Kenny and DCL were disgustingly bad today.

To be fair, Bolasie is a donkey even when fully fit.

Except when playing against us, of course.

The day after the Everton-Manchester United semifinal, I went to the Crystal Palace-Watford semifinal. Bolasie was the best player on the field by far and dominated the game.

By the way, which of our players was it who played the delicious ball from the half way line directly to their striker which ultimately led to their first goal? Probably our best pass from midfield to up front all season. Shame it was from our midfield to their up front, like. Think it was the crab McCarthy wasn't it? I recall Schneiderlin walking back towards goal while they were attacking, and Gueye sort of being somewhere in the mix.

I note Bournemouth are now only seven points behind us (and I suggest that gap will close, given our upcoming fixtures). I have a nagging feeling that we are still headed toward a dreaded late season relegation dogfight. And, given we are an awful football team, with most of our players lacking any stomach for a fight, this might not end well.

Let's look at our 'unfit for purpose' players: Cuco, Jags, Ashley, Kenny, Baines, Keane, Sandro, Klaasen, Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Bolasie, Lennon...and DCL can't lead a line nor score a goal and Sigurdsson is a bit crap too.

Fit for purpose : Rooney, Gana, Pickford, Oumar (!!) and I like the look of Lookman and Vlasic and would persist with Holgate.

Between them, Koeman and Walsh have done a right hatchet job on Everton Football Club.

Everton 1 Man Utd 0.
Happy New Year my friend. ;)

Are we sure we are out of an end of season relegation dogfight? The table is getting very congested with crap teams; one of which, most certainly, is us

As bad as we are, luckily I think the likes of Swansea, Newcastle, WBA and Stoke are worse. If there's a small bright side to Bournemouth beating us today, it's that it's dropped West Ham back into the relegation places lol

Pickford. Easiest choice of the season.

Outfield players were mostly gutless and clueless.
Sam gets to see what we have watched since August.
His luck ran out today.

Every attack of theirs seemed to start at the feet of an Everton player. Embarrassing.

Jags and Keane. Be better off with 2x Alcarez.
This partnership has been awful for pretty much most of the season.

Not exactly Holgate and Williams....

Agree with people saying about the selection today. Our reason for being conservative in previous games for me is due to us being unable to go toe-to-toe with sides better than us going forward. I think even with the players we have available atm, we should be capable of at least going toe-to-toe with Bournemouth, and BFS must have known that. Having said that, they did play well today and for me deserved the points all in all.
Terrible team selection! How could Rooney be left on the bench, then he’s put in and told to take Gana’s spot in holding midfield when he is the most likely to score this season with 10 goals already. And how Calvert-Lewin gets so much time and praise is beyond me, he’s not producing nought and looks like he never will and Niasse who puts in an honest effort and gives some hope is mostly on the bench. After the West Brom game the team should have been changed up. Big Sam lost us that game today with bad selections.

Holgate rested which was fair enough with 2 games in 3 days. We missed him though and dare I say Williams. Rooney to start against Utd in midfield with Geye and the fresh legs of Beni. I'd play Niasse up top with Siggy and either Vlasic or Lookman behind, with the other on the bench.

I hope that vlasic and lookman get in the side.

Possible hes looking at all the players and seeing how poorly they are using the bolasie benchmark...

Anyone worse then him gets punted in jan....and he drives the motor.
